Golfers 2 the Rescue
Great Falls Rescue Mission's 7th Annual Golfers to the Rescue Golf Marathon was a success again this year. Ten teams of golfers had a great time playing golf and raised a total of $14,306.30 in pledges to help the Mission feed, clothe and share the Hope of Jesus with our area's neediest people.
Thank you to our golfers and volunteers who helped at the Marathon in so many different ways and the donors who pledged their financial support. Prizes were given out to closes to the pin (Bob Jordan; with a hole in one although not the $10,000 hole), longest drive (Jonathan Bass) and most holes played (Bill Lauver, 205 holes.)
We would also like to express our thanks to Kevin O'Connell of Hub International who provided the insurance for our $10,000 Hole-in-One prize.
