Lisa and Julie are from broken homes. Chloe has experienced trauma in her young life that even an adult shouldn’t have to face. Sara lives in a home where drugs have affected her family's stability and well-being.

Like many children whose lives are touched by poverty, hardship, abuse or violence, these young people take on adult responsibilities at a very early age. Camp provides them a place to be a kid, to make friends and enjoy simple pleasures.
